School-Net: Network, VDI, IPTV, Server infrastructure expansion project

School-Net project overseeing the supply, design, installation, and commissioning of a scalable network and server infrastructure for eight high schools in Addis Ababa. All high schools were provided with the required hardware and software items needed to implement the necessary infrastructure. The project also deployed a mini-server room at each high school with School Net VPN connections to the main datacenter located at AACEB. Other main accomplishments also include the implementation of a modular network design for the expansion of 21 schools, the implementation of VDI solutions and application servers for SchoolNet E-learning programs and providing local and international training for IT professionals and school management. The project has a budget of over 17 million ETB.
